The Framed Word

The gallery wall

The collection, being framed

This wall holds the first collection of The Framed Word: biblical scenes printed at 8.5 x 11 and 11 x 17 inches and framed, made in Hamilton, Ontario. The frames below hang at the true proportions of those two sizes. Each will take one scene, named on its placard for the passage it comes from, with its price, when the collection opens. Until then the wall stays honest: hung, and waiting.

The placards

How will the pieces be named?

For their passages. A scene of the sea in walls will carry Exodus 14 on its placard, not an invented title. That is how people look for this kind of art, and it keeps every piece anchored to the text it pictures, which is the point of the whole shop.
